Paintings are decorative props in Hello Neighbor.

There are many paintings found around the Neighbor's house. Each painting (from Alpha 2 onwards) appears in a variety of shapes and sizes, save for a few exceptions. The selection of paintings available has changed with each update.

Street Tram Painting Only appeared in the Pre-Alpha. Multiple slight variations in the design.
Broken Frame Painting Only appeared in the Pre-Alpha. Likely a glitchy texture map.
Neighbor and Friend Painting Added in the Pre-Alpha, last appearance was Alpha 2, in the basement.
Cat Painting Appeared in Alpha 1, last appearance was Alpha 2, in the basement
Crow Painting Added in Alpha 1, last appearance was Alpha 2, with a larger variant covering a hole in the Bird room. It could also be found in the unfinished basement.
No texture painting

Added in alpha 2, in the player’s house, likely a glitchy texture. Its appearance are two shades of blue, checkered.

Orchard Painting Appeared in Alpha 2. Meant to spawn on the Neighbor's living room wall, but due to an oversight, it instead spawned inside the wall.
"Tasty" Painting Added in Alpha 2. Only appeared in this version.
Mustache Painting Added in Alpha 2.
Red Urn Painting Added in Alpha 2.
Vase Painting Added in Alpha 2.
Flower Painting Added in Alpha 2.
Mug Painting Added in Alpha 2.
Golden Apple Painting Added in Alpha 2. Sometimes conceals secrets, like the Blue Key, and the staircase with the Red Key.
Eye Painting Added in Alpha 3.
Mouth Painting Added in Alpha 3.
Family Painting Added in Alpha 3.
House Painting Added in Beta 1. Appears in the Player's house. Last appearance was Beta 3, the last version of that house.
Shelves Painting Added in Beta 1. Appears in the Player's house, and is a hint for one of the puzzles. It also appeared in the puzzle room, and only appears there now since the full version player house is different.
